So uh… now that Coach Steven is about to air and totally blow everyone away with Amethyst and Garnet’s awesome fusion, anyone else excited to see Pearl and Garnet’s?! After Sugilite, I don’t even know what to expect! But hey I’m so excited that I made a guess!
Well… whatever she looks like, she’s gonna be PRETTY big!

Scales

This is because Fahrenheit is based on a brine scale and the human body. The scale is basically how cold does it have to be to freeze saltwater (zero Fahrenheit) to what temperature is the human body (100-ish Fahrenheit, although now we know that’s not exactly accurate). Fahrenheit was designed around humans.Celsius and Kelvin are designed around the natural world.Celsius is a scale based on water. Zero is when water freezes, 100 is when water boils.Kelvin uses the same scale as Celsius (one degree, as a unit, is the same between the two), but defines zero as absolute zero, which is basically the temperature at which atoms literally stop doing that spinning thing. Nothing can exist below zero Kelvin. It’s the bottom of the scale.So.Fahrenheit: what temperatures affect humansCelsius: what temperatures affect waterKelvin: what temperatures affect atoms

Why didn’t my science teachers ever see fit to toss off this little fact?

Michelle the rabbit’s trip to Downton Abbey

She walked along the drive, had a tour around the house, pretended to be Lady Edith in the garden and sat on the Mary and Matthew bench.

She also wore her new Downton Abbey themed t-shirt.

Anonym sagte: One of the saddest and most hil- NO BITCH, the sad thing here is the fact that you're a stripper. If you want respect, maybe you should've graduated high school. 😂😂 when did stripping become a legitimate career?

Is there a better way of showing a text message in a film? How about the internet? Even though we’re well into the digital age, film is still ineffective at depicting the world we live in. Maybe the solution lies not in content, but in form.

For educational purposes only. You can follow me at twitter.com/tonyszhou

Here are three short films that take place on your desktop
Internet Story (2010): youtu.be/g-SL4ejpP94
Noah (2013): vimeo.com/81257262
Transformers: the Premake (2014): youtu.be/dD3K1eWXI54

Music:
Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross - In Motion (from The Social Network)
David Arnold & Michael Price - On the Move (from Sherlock)
Daft Punk - End of Line (from Tron: Legacy)
Al Hirt - Green Hornet Theme (from Kill Bill Vol. 1)

NEAT NEAT NEAT NEAT!! Watch this. I wrote my thesis on the relationship between the internet and physical space and my views on it have evolved dramatically since then, but investigating how it is portrayed in film is such a cool way of analyzing it. Still much work to be done…I can’t wait to watch the first movie that takes place entirely on the internet.

"Five Hundred Miles"- Justin Timberlake, Carey Mulligan & Stark Sands

My dear friends. I’m not quite sure how something as beautiful and unexpected as this soundtrack has slipped below my music radar. I never would have guessed that Mr. J.T. himself could throw himself into the bohemian folk era so effortlessly.

I keep on cackling forever when people say that Justin has no talent, and that he’s just a crappy pop star, he’s fucking brilliant and I will defend it forever, CASE IN POINT.
I can’t wait to see the movie omg.
